Welcome to Bingham County Historical Society!

Bingham County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Bingham County, Idaho. The Society operates both the
Bingham County Historical Society Museum
and the Bingham County Historical Society Archives. Additionally, the Society regularly hosts public events to educate the community on the history of Bingham County. The Society operates through volunteer service hours and member contributions, under the direction of its Board of Directors, and is a non profit organization. We invite anyone interested in the history of Bingham County to join the Bingham County Historical Society. The Society publishes a quarterly newsletter. Our collection is available to the public at the Archives and some information is available online.

The museum will be closed on June 14th and 15th for maintenance. We anticipate that the museum will open again on June 16th. The Museum hours are 11 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. The Archive is open Wednesday from 10 to 5 and Thursday from 9 to 2. Other times are available by appointment only.

Admission:

  • Children 3 and under – free
  • Age 4-13 – $3
  • Age 14-64 – $5
  • Seniors 65 and over – $3

A one year family pass that covers multiple museums in Idaho is $45. Individual passes are $20.

Veterans or active duty service men and women get free admission during the month of May.

In June, any brides getting married in 2022 are free. (Please bring a wedding invitation with your name on it.)
