 Please be advised that the Museum and Archives will be open by appointment only during the Eastern Idaho State Fair week from August 30, 2024 through September 7, 2024.

Bingham County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Bingham County, Idaho. The Society operates both the Bingham County Historical Society Museum and the Bingham County Historical Society Archives.

Additionally, the Society regularly hosts public events to educate the community on the history of Bingham County. The Society operates through volunteer service hours and member contributions, under the direction of its Board of Directors, and is a non profit organization. We invite anyone interested in the history of Bingham County to join the Bingham County Historical Society. The Society publishes a quarterly newsletter. Our collection is available to the public at the Archives and some information is available online.

We also wish to express our appreciation to the Idaho State Historical Society for a community enhancement grant which has made updates to this website possible.

Bingham County Historical Society Museum

  • Museum Summer Hours (June 1st to October 31st): 11am - 6pm Mon-Sat
    Museum Winter Hours (November 1st to May 31st): noon to 4pm (Mon-Sat)

  •  --Ages 4 - 13: $3.00
  •  --Ages 14 - 64: $5.00
  •  --Seniors 65 and over: $3.00

    Bingham County Historical Society Individual Membership ($20.00) or Family Membership ($45.00) allows for free admission to the Bingham County Historical Museum and a quarterly newsletter as well as participation in the Idaho History Reciprocal Membership Program.
